Constructed in 1942, the 37 meter deep Samara bunker had a self-contained air recycling system and power station and could withstand a direct hit from a 2000kg aerial bomb. It however remained a secret until the 1990 for outside world before being declassified and turned into a museum. / AFP PHOTO / MANAN VATSYAYANA
